The PyTorch core maintainers met on May 2nd and voted on a new lead core maintainer following Soumith’s announcement that he wanted to step down from that position.
It is my pleasure to announce that the lead core maintainer torch has been passed on from Soumith Chintala to Alban Desmaison (@albanD ). Pun fully intended.
