Hi all,
I opened PR #194438 two weeks ago — a docs-only change adding an
explanation of the adaptive pooling bin-boundary algorithm (addressing
a long-standing FIXME in torch/nn/modules/pooling.py). No source code
is modified.
CI workflows still show "awaiting approval from a maintainer" and
haven't run at all yet, so I'm not sure if this has been seen. I
noticed a similar report a couple weeks back
("Workflows never approved for a week — PR #188945") so wanted to
check if there's a standard path to get workflows approved for
first-time contributors, or if this typically just needs more patience.

Thanks for any pointers!
Hi!
Sorry for the bad experience here.
We are getting too many PRs for us to be able to handle properly these days and are working on improving our automation so that your PR is not left hanging without any comments.
I would recommend focusing on issues with the actionable label which are the ones the maintainers explicitly said that they’re willing to review PRs.
Sorry for the confusion, hopefully the new automation coming up in the next couple weeks will avoid this in the future.
Thanks for contributing!
Thanks so much for the personal reply, and no worries — totally
understand the scale you’re dealing with. Appreciate the tip about
“actionable” issues, will look there for future contributions.
